(SOUTHFIELD, MI, 4/9/13) -- On Sunday April 14, the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) will hold its 13th Annual Banquet, with the theme "Upholding Our Constitution, Defending Our Faith," at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn.

Registration begins at 1 p.m.

The keynote speaker for the banquet is Imam Suhaib Webb, the Imam of the Islamic Society of Boston’s Cultural Center. 

Webb is a contemporary American Muslim educator, activist, and lecturer. He was rated one of 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center in 2010. He recently appeared on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
