CAIR-MI will host a “Know Your Rights With Law Enforcement” followed by a discussion with ACLU Washington Senior Policy Counsel Michael German on FBI protocols with the Muslim community.
Mr. German is a former FBI agent of 16 years, who left the Bureau in 2004 because he believed he could no longer keep his oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution based upon the agency's abuses against the Muslim community. He is an adjunct professor on Law Enforcement and Terrorism at the National Defense University and a fellow at www.GlobalSecurity.org.
