CAIR-MI will host a "Know Your Rights With Law Enforcement," town hall forum followed by a discussion led by ACLU Washington Senior Policy Counsel Michael German on FBI protocols with Muslim community on Saturday, October 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Muslim Community of Western Suburbs (Canton Masjid) in Canton. All community members are welcome.
German is a former FBI agent of 16 years, who left the Bureau in 2004 because he believed he could no longer keep his oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution based upon the agency's abuses against the Muslim community. Furthermore, German is an adjunct professor on Law Enforcement and Terrorism at the National Defense University and a fellow atwww.GlobalSecurity.org.
