Foadeh Yahya is currently the Office Administrator at the Council on American Islamic Relations-Michigan Chapter (CAIR-MI). Born in Yemen, she immigrated to the U.S. at the age of nine and complete her middle and high school studies in Southwest Detroit. She earned an Associates Degree in General Studies from Henry Ford College and a Phlebotomy Certification from the Detroit Bio-Lab. She hopes to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education as well as earn a certification of Sign Language Interpretation. She is passionate about continuing her work with CAIR and serving the needs of civil rights in the community.
