CAIR-MI is seeking a highly motivated person for Civil Rights Manager position.
The responsibilities will include:
Intake of discrimination complaints.
Maintain master calendar for staff attorney’s legal consultations.
Mail legal correspondences including case closing letters and other official communications.
Manage the dissemination of press releases and civil rights community updates including on CAIR-MI’s website.
Execution of other administrative duties which arise.
The position will be part-time with office hours from Monday through Thursday. Legal office experience or case intake management experience preferred as well as Arabic language proficiency, the former being more important than the latter.
