
Jad Salamey serves as the Immigration & Civil Rights Staff Attorney at the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI), where he works to advance justice and equity through legal advocacy in immigration and civil rights. Prior to joining CAIR-MI, Jad was a staff attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, where he focused on representing unaccompanied immigrant children, safeguarding their rights to protection and due process. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law and is deeply committed to using his legal expertise to support and empower marginalized communities.
